This week we sat down with Alix Day, a key part of P1’s Adviser Platform Support team. Here’s what she had to say.
What was your journey to P1?
After travelling the world for a bit I was interested in starting a career in the finance industry. Having previously worked in accounts I was keen to learn something new and expand my knowledge in a different area which I am thoroughly enjoying.
What exactly do you do at P1?
I am part of the support team here to help advisors with all aspects of the platform whether it be providing updates on transfers or helping with the setup of new clients.
What would you see as a success for P1 and yourself?
For the platform to continue to grow whilst also still providing a high level of service for all the advisors using the platform.
Without sounding like sales, how would you summarise what P1 is about from your perspective?
I think it’s about creating a user-friendly platform where we are able to go above and beyond for our clients and advisors.
If you were stranded on a desert island, which colleague would you hope to be stranded with?
Victoria, we might not last long but at least it will be a laugh.

What personal investment, good or bad, have you learnt the most from?
I am invested in our P1 Wealth Accumulator at the recommendation of our investment officer but its early days to have learnt much!
