Human activity is well established as the leading cause of global warming, with cumulative carbon dioxide emissions as the primary driver. Nearly all warming since pre-industrial times is human-induced, i.e., the natural warming contribution since 1850 is approximately zero.
Despite this, climate denial articles still appear, often repeating flawed arguments which can be difficult to refute without specialist knowledge.
In this article, Dr Quintin Rayer briefly reviews some climate denier activities and offers tips for refuting them.
